The Quest 3 has a fantastic pair of speakers built into the strap, and they’re impressively nuanced, as well as being surprisingly loud. You can connect wired earphones, too. Still, the secret weapon to its predecessor was always being able to hook it up to a gaming rig for the likes of Half-Life Alyx and other PCVR titles and I’m pleased to say that the same applies here. I’ve spent just as much time playing F1 23 or Elite Dangerous via my (admittedly pretty beefy) PC as I have played games on the headset itself.
An alternative to Air Link is the third-party app Virtual Desktop, which allows you to bring your computer’s display into VR and interact with it from within your headset. However, it also has similar functionality to Air Link, allowing you to stream PC VR content wirelessly to your Quest. Whether you need to clean grout, floors, carpets or windows, a strong burst of steam can cut through dirt and grease. Steam cleaners are also one of the most versatile home cleaning appliances. Keep in mind that Air Link won’t necessarily work for everyone — depending on your personal setup and your network hardware, performance and reliability may be unstable or vary.

The battery part is arguably the most useful feature of the premium Elite Strap. It provides an additional two hours of charge which doubles the Quest 2's play time — on paper at least. In reality, how you're using your headset will dictate how long the batteries, actually last. In our testing, we found the strap boosted our playtime by one to two hours. We didn't spot any issues, but it is worth noting some Elite Strap owners have complained about the battery itself not charging, rendering the strap's main element useless. Quest Link allows you to connect your headset to your PC through a USB-C cable. This enables low latency gaming and doesn’t require a router in the same room as your headset.

Despite boasting multiple impressive specs, the model's biggest selling point is not among the ones we've listed above. No, its biggest selling point is the 32-gram per minute steam output. With this output, the steamer is excellent at sanitising and killing bacteria, disinfecting and sterilising them, removing odours, and refreshing fabrics on clothes, curtains, home furniture, bedding items, and more. With its leakproof and splashproof design, the model enables both vertical and horizontal steaming. Ensure you have the Oculus app open on your computer. Then, go to the settings menu on your Quest and go to the Experimental tab. Here, you can enable Air Link and pair your headset with your desktop PC running the Oculus software. Air Link allows you to play SteamVR games on your Quest 3 through WiFi, as long as you have a powerful (5Ghz) router that’s in close proximity to your headset (ideally in the same room). Cost Efficient. A steam cleaner might be initially more expensive than other cleaning products, but once you’ve bought it the running costs are low. To get the proverbial ball rolling, this handheld appliance reduces the heat-up time to 15 seconds, which is not a huge difference from the usual 25-40 seconds but, day after day, month after month, year after year, these seconds add up and end up making a noticeable difference. Plus, when you're running late, every second counts, and this model understands that unlike most handheld garment steamers. The app has quite the history and was actually available long before Air Link — some users find the former works better than the latter, or vice versa. Virtual Desktop is available for both Quest and Quest 2 (but performance may not be quite as good on the former).

Handheld steamers deliver a highly concentrated burst of steam via a small nozzle. They are portable and easy to use, so are great for cleaning awkward locations. Handheld steamers also tend to be cheaper than full-size alternatives, although the smaller size can reduce steam power and makes them unsuitable for cleaning large areas. The Tefal IT3440 Pro Style Steam is not portable. Hanging with upright steamers, this model is not something you can take with you. Of course, with its upright design come multiple advantages and disadvantages. Aside from the appliance not being quite as portable as handheld models, its large footprint also requires more storage space than the steamer's more compact counterparts. But, as you would imagine, its size also entails certain advantages.
