This is a listen where the tent revival preacher shouts the good news to you (and I do mean "shouts"). I would pick up this book if I was feeling content, or feeling unsatisfied with the life I had made for myself. I know “leader” sounds more inspiring and that the business world wants to talk about leadership—but when thing go wrong, I don’t care about leadership; I want control, or at least to know someone is in control. Continue to seek new obsessions by making new friends, seeking mentors, investing in education, keeping a sharp mind and healthy body, and being charitable.

Minutes later, SWAT police arrive and congregate outside, hearing a report Grant Cardone is supposedly 'unarmed', law enforcement apparently having enough intel to, wisely, conclude average police are not enough. Grant had grown up with big dreams but friends and family told him to be more reasonable and less demanding. Which means that while they are giving advice to others about how to grow a business, they may have never grown one themselves! Or maybe an entrepreneur decides that because the talent pool is so poor, they can’t hire anyone who can do it as well as them, and they give up.I listened each morning as I got ready for work (I work freelance from home) and each day I have gone to work and pushed myself harder and further than I ever dreamed I would. When I hired just one person to assist me out of my home office, I thought I was so smart: Keep it small.

No two definitions of success are the same, and striving towards anyone else's idea of success can never truly kindle an obsession. All the others are must reads too, but in this one you can't fail to be inspired by the guys energy and passion. The nay sayers are trying to protect themselves from being reminded that they've relegated themselves to average.Honestly, his advice to management is to hire more people, make money and get rid of them, I really hated listening to this.
