The 2x 5-watt speakers and cylindrical design allow for a 360 degree sound experience as you can use this speaker either vertical as the speaker is placed on one of the rubberised ends or you can have it horizontal but it does not affect the sound as you have a raised rubber base. Accessories wise you get the USB-C charge cable and a fabric carry case when you’re not using the speaker. It’s a nice addition as am all about keeping my tech safe when not in use.

Sound quality for the JuiceBoom Pro offers a beefy bass but the mid-range is slightly off. If the volume at max the sound can be a little muddled and can become a little distorted. The on-body Juice® control panel allows you to play, pause and alter the volume of your music, so no need to reach for your device! Even if your device isn't Bluetooth ® compatible, you can still enjoy the Boom Pro's superior sound using a 3.5mm AUX cable. Everything is turned on and sitting adjacent on counter. The speaker is in pairing mode. What should I do next? The Juice Boom Pro XL can be used at home, in the garden, well basically anywhere! It has been developed to an IPX5 rating, which means this speaker is fully splash proof (even powerful water jets!) so ideal for holidays and outdoor use. I also listen to a regular podcast on the speaker and it worked very well there no dropouts and the vocals come across nice and clear and at times I thought I had a more expensive speaker.So overall, would I buy this speaker? I would say yes it’s not very expensive and if you’re looking for a speaker that has a rugged feel that can be used vertically or horizontally and has a decent sound profile for the cost of the speaker. This speaker won’t replace your home audio system but it’s great when you’re down the park or chilling on the beach.

The Juiceboom Pro is a cylindrical, ruggedised design that has a fabric material that goes around the whole speaker. On each end of this speaker you have rubber end caps that are shaped to allow you to stand this speaker up. Inside that cover, you have the USB-C port for charging, AUX cable if you want that wired connection when Bluetooth is not an option. You also have an SD card slot which I found quite hardy as you can store a load of music on an SD card and that way you won’t need to use your phone for its music streaming service if you did not want to. On the base of the speaker, it has 4 little raised triangles that act as feet and keep the speaker in place. This speaker also comes with an IPX7 rating making it ideal for the outside as it can be submerged up to 1 meter in water for 30 minutes which is ideal if your a little clumsy like me and dropped the speaker in a swimming pool on a recent trip out and after giving it a wipe down the speaker worked perfectly.
